Grain higher, livestock mostly higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec delivery rose 8 cents to $5.2525 a bushel; Dec corn was 4.50 cents higher at 3.7375 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.36 a bushel; while Jan soybeans surged 38.25 cents to $10.64 a bushel.
Beef and pork were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec live cattle rose .13 cent to $1.6725 a pound; Jan feeder cattle lost .10 cent to $2.3265 a pound; while Dec lean hogs were .35 cent higher at $.8990 a pound.
