Prizes to be given for inclusion of people with disabilities

BOSTON (AP) — The Boston-based Ruderman Family Foundation is accepting nominations for its annual awards for companies and organizations that demonstrate model inclusion for people with disabilities.
Five organizations from around the world will be selected for the prizes, which are $50,000 each.
This is the fifth consecutive year the prizes have been awarded. This year, priority will be given to innovations in the fields of technology, entertainment, art and fashion, media, social businesses and advocacy.
Past winners include schools, religious places of worship, a dance company, a university, a bakery and an employment service. Organizations in Russia, the U.K., the United States, Mexico, Israel, South Africa, Australia, Canada and Argentina have won.
