OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (AP) _ Hertel Cutting Technologies Services, a subsidiary of the German toolmaking company Hertel AG, said Tuesday its Oak Ridge, Tenn., plant will close as part of Hertel's acquisition by Kennametal Inc.

About 112 of the plant's 150 workers will lose their jobs by the time the plant closes at the end of February.

Kennametal, a carbide cutting-tool manufacturer, will consolidate the Oak Ridge facility's workload to other Kennametal plants.
