Wyoming Democratic Party committeeman resigns
Sep. 07, 2018
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Democratic Party has seen a change in its national committee representatives with the resignation of one committeeman following unspecified accusations of harassment.
Jon Gardzelewski resigned late last month as committeeman after being accused of non-sexual harassment.
He denies the accusations and blames others within the party for orchestrating his ouster.
Gardzelewski is an associate lecturer in the school of Civil And Architectural Engineering at the University of Wyoming. A strong supporter of Bernie Sanders for president two years ago, he was elected to the party post in 2016.
Wyoming Democratic Party Chairman Joe Barbuto says that Lucas Fralick, of Gillette, will replace Gardzelewski.
