PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A shooting on a Philadelphia street has left two people critically wounded, including a 14-year-old boy.
Authorities say the shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. Monday.
A 25-year-old man was shot multiple times in his lower torso, while the boy was hit twice in the face and neck. The teen was undergoing surgery and was listed in extremely critical condition.
Authorities say more than 20 shots were fired by at least two shooters who fled the scene. The names of the victims have been disclosed.
A motive for the shooting remains under investigation. But authorities say the man was likely the intended target.
