NEW YORK (AP) — A New York City police officer has been accused of exposing himself to two young girls in the Bronx.

Police say 43-year-old Adam Fridson was arrested Tuesday on charges of acting in a manner injurious to a child, lewdness and exposure.

The alleged incident happened just after 4 p.m. last Wednesday when the officer had just gotten off of work.

Police say the two girls, ages 12 and 7, were approached by the suspect who asked for directions to McDonalds and then exposed himself before driving away.

Information on Fridson's lawyer was not immediately available.

The 12-year veteran has been placed on modified duty.
