Jun. 25, 2003
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) _ A fast-moving fire Tuesday swept through a minibus used to transport people with disabilities, killing a disabled man.
Two other passengers were evacuated, authorities said. One declined medical treatment and the second was treated for smoke inhalation at a hospital.
The minibus serves people with disabilities and the elderly in the Lehigh Valley. The identity of the man who died was not immediately released.
The blaze apparently started in the engine compartment, a fire official said.
