The Bedford, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 37 cents per share.

The biotechnology company posted revenue of $648,000 in the period.

Ocular Therapeutix shares have increased 24 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $5.54, a drop of slightly more than 8 percent in the last 12 months.
