CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Parts of Wyoming and Nebraska will close out 2017 with a blast of cold and windy weather.

A high wind watch is meanwhile in effect for Laramie, where gusts Saturday could reach 45 miles (72 kilometers) per hour.
