JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — An early morning crash killed two people and left children's toys and a stroller scattered on a New Jersey road.

The Hudson County prosecutor's office says the 3 a.m. Sunday crash in Jersey City involved two vehicles.

The Jersey Journal reported that a white vehicle was flipped over on its roof and a small red car jumped the curb, hit a telephone pole and came to rest against a building.

Officials with the prosecutor's office confirmed that two people died but didn't immediately release information about the victims or any other injuries.

Details about how the crash occurred weren't immediately available.
