LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) _ Harvey Grant scored 23 points and Tom Gugliotta added 15 in his NBA debut as the Washington Bullets beat the Milwaukee Bucks 123-99 in an exhibition game Wednesday night.

The Bullets went on a 20-6 run late in the third quarter to go up 73-46 with 3:11 left. The Bucks, who are 0-4 in the preseason, could get no closer than 20 points after that.

Rex Chapman hit a reverse layup and a 3-pointer during the stretch.

Both teams started slowly, but the Bullets were able to take a 49-39 lead at the half. Milwaukee shot less than 40 percent from the field in the first two quarters.

Chapman finished with 10 points and seven assists in 20 minutes.

He said he was playing on about two hours' sleep after the birth Tuesday night of his and his wife Bridget's first child, 7-pound, 1-ounce Zeke Everette Chapman.

Don MacLean, a first-round pick of Detroit who was acquired by Washington, had 12 points. Pervis Ellison added 5 points and seven rebounds for the Bullets.

Alvin Robertson had 19 points to lead Milwaukee.
