INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) _ Guard-forward Allison Feaster, the Los Angeles Sparks' first-round draft choice, is scheduled to undergo surgery Friday on her fractured right foot and will be sidelined at least six weeks.

Feaster injured her foot five minutes into Wednesday's 73-69 loss at Sacramento. She was originally thought to have a sprain.

The Sparks selected the 5-foot-11 former Harvard standout with the fifth choice in April's WNBA draft.

Feaster averaged a team-leading 18.5 points per game in the Sparks' two exhibition games. She scored five points in each of the first two regular-season games.

``Each player will have to step up a little bit to make up for her loss,'' coach Julie Rousseau said. ``The only thing in our favor is that we have depth. We'll be expecting Mwadi Mabika to step up even more and we'll probably play Octavia Blue more on the perimeter than post.''

Guard Jamila Wideman participated in her first full practice of the season Thursday. She is on the injured list because of a disc tear in her lower back. She is not yet cleared to play.
