Mobil Names Vice Presidents

NEW YORK (AP) _ Mobil Corp. on Monday named Jack E. Crawford, a vice president of Mobil Chemical Co. and general manager of the petrochemicals division, as vice president in charge of environmental affairs.
The appointment was part of several executive changes announced by the oil giant.
Crawford, whose appointment is expected to become effective Sept. 1, succeeds Joseph V. D'Ambrisi, who plans to retire Nov. 1 as vice president of research, engineering and environmental affairs. D'Ambrisi will be on special assignment starting Sept. 1.
Jerry G. Griffith, a vice president of engineering for Mobil Research and Development Corp., was named Crawford's replacement. Named to replace Griffith was Edward F. Kondis, vice president of the natural gas, exploration and producing division.
