Pennsylvania funeral home, apartments burn, nobody hurt

MACUNGIE, Pa. (AP) — A fire has damaged a funeral home and some apartments above it, shutting down a major road in a tiny eastern Pennsylvania borough.
No injuries were immediately reported in the fire that damaged the Boyko Funeral Home in Macungie. That's in Lehigh County, about 50 miles (80.5 kilometers) north of Philadelphia.
The fire was reported about 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
There are apartments above the funeral home, which is located on the main floor of a three-story building. Crews believe the fire started in one of the third-floor apartments near the rear of the building, but didn't immediately say what caused it.
The fire caused crews to close Route 100, a state highway that runs through the borough.
