DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) — The director of a facility that helps inmates prepare for life after incarceration has been arrested after a fight.

Local media outlets report Darlington County Prison Farm director Ulanda Green was arrested Monday and charged with third-degree assault and battery. Darlington County deputies say they went to the facility after getting a call about a fight.

Green has been put on administrative leave. Jail records listed no attorney for her, and no details about the fight have been released.

According to its website, the Darlington County Prison Farm has contracts to house state and county inmates while they are serving their sentences. The facility says it offers a structured work environment while teaching accountability and life management skills.
