RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) _ Mohammad Al Shlhoob and Hussein Abdulghani scored two goals each in Saudi Arabia's 6-0 victory over Mongolia on Thursday night in Asian World Cup qualifying.

In the other game of the opening doubleheader of Group 10, Vietnam and Bangladesh played a scoreless tie.

Obeid Al Dossary and Marzouq Al Oteibi also scored for Saudi Arabia.

On Saturday, Mongolia plays Vietnam and Bangladesh meets Saudi Arabia. The top team in the group advances to the 10-nation Asian finals, which will produce two qualifiers for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea.

Saudi Arabia, which went 0-2-1 in the 1998 World Cup with a tie against Denmark, is ranked 36th by FIFA. Vietnam is ranked 99th among 203 nations, while Bangladesh is 151st and Mongolia 196th.
