AURORA, Colo. (AP) — The Latest on a fatal shooting in Aurora (all times local):
Aurora police have arrested a man they say shot and killed another person outside a sports bar.
Police officials said in a statement Sunday that 22-year-old Miguel Angel Licona-Ortega is being charged with first-degree murder. He was arrested early Sunday and booked in the Aurora Detention Center.
It is not immediately clear whether Licona-Ortega has an attorney.
Police say Licona-Ortega shot and killed a man in his 20s outside the Tierra Maya Sports Bar and Grill on Saturday night.
Police have not identified the victim or a reason for the shooting.
Police are searching for a person who shot and killed a man outside a sports bar in Aurora.
Aurora police spokesman Sgt. Chris Amsler says the shooting happened Saturday evening near the Tierra Maya Sports Bar and Grill.
Police officials say a man in his 20s was taken to a hospital, where he died from a gunshot wound.
Amsler says authorities are trying to determine a motive and are searching for the shooter.
Authorities say they believe the shooting was an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the public.
