NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Paige Redman scored 22 points, including a career-high six 3-pointers, to lead No. 15 Vanderbilt to a 86-60 victory over DePaul on Wednesday night.
Mfon Udoka hit two free throws with 11:42 left in the first half to keep DePaul (17-7) close at 18-12. But Redman hit two 3-pointers during a run that gave Vanderbilt (17-8) a 37-16 lead with less than six minutes to go before the break.
Katie Janky hit a basket with 13:10 remaining that extended Vanderbilt's lead to 64-34.
The Commodores got a scoring boost from their bench which outscored DePaul's reserves 27-6. The Blue Demons hit less than 35 percent of their shots from the field and were 1-of-13 on 3-point attempts.
Janky and Michelle Palmisano had 15 points for Vanderbilt with center Angela Gorsica adding 12 points, 11 rebounds and eight blocked shots.
Kim Williams led the Blue Demons with 27 points, while Udoka finished with 13 points and 15 rebounds.
