ANKARA, Turkey (AP) _ Car accidents in Turkey's snow-covered capital claimed at least 21 lives Monday, including 13 people killed when a bus tumbled off a slippery road.

Despite warnings of the dangers of slippery, snow-covered roads, more than 300 crashes were registered in and around Ankara by mid-afternoon.

More than 20 people were injured in the bus crash on the outskirts of Ankara, Turkey's Anatolia news agency said.
