Brewers 7, Giants 5
Mar. 14, 1995
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) _ Mark Cole drove in a pair of runs as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the San Francisco Giants 7-5 Tuesday in an error-filled exhibition game.
The Brewers made three errors, including a muffed fly ball by right fielder Kenny Jackson that turned into a three-base error. The Giants made two errors, and each scored two unearned runs.
Cole had an RBI groundout as the Brewers scored three time in the fourth inning, and added a sacrifice fly in the fifth. Mike Harris had a run-scoring triple for Milwaukee.
Joel Chimelis had a two-run single for the Giants.
The Brewers said Rich Aldrete, who has 13 RBIs this spring, probably will be sidelined until Monday with a strained ligament in his left knee. Aldrete, the brother of Oakland's Mike Aldrete, was injured Monday.
The Giants reduced their spring training roster to 49 by returning infielders Charles Alimena and Jon Sbrocco, pitcher German Diaz, catcher Craig Mayes and outfielder Darrin Glenn to their minor league camp.
