HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Adrienne Goodson scored 23 points and Yolanda Griffith had 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Chicago Condors beat the New England Blizzard 70-57 on Saturday in the American Basketball League.

The expansion Condors (3-4) won their second game in less than 24 hours after losing four in a row. The Blizzard (1-6) lost their sixth consecutive game, tying a team record.

Goodson had eight points in the first quarter, when the Condors took a 20-11 lead. A 12-1 run, capped by reserve Carla Berube's layup, got New England even at 21, but Deanna Tate then made two jumpers.

The Blizzard got to 37-33 early in the third quarter, but an 11-0 run, capped by Ashley Berggren's 3-pointer, gave Chicago its biggest lead, 48-33.

Tate had 10 points, eight assists and seven steals, and Berggren scored eight points in five minutes.

Stacey Lovelace led New England with a season-high 17 points, and Kara Wolters had 12 points and eight rebounds.
