PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) _ John Talbot scored in the 75th minute, and Jacob Dowden added a pair of goals as Princeton beat Hartwick 3-0 Sunday and advanced the Final Four of the NCAA soccer tournament for the first time.

Princeton (13-4) plays defending champion Virginia (20-3) in the semifinals on Friday at Davidson, N.C. Cal State-Fullerton (16-6) plays South Carolina (15-3-4) in the other semifinal.

The go-ahead goal developed after Hartwick's Ian McIntyre hit Princeton's Joe Thieman with a hard shot to the face going for a loose ball. McIntyre was issued a yellow card, setting up a free kick. Andre Parris took the kick and sent the ball to Mark Shumka, who fed the ball to Talbot.

Dowden added goals in the 86th and 88th minutes.
