NEW YORK (AP) _ Some of the stocks that are moving substantially or trading heavily today on the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq Stock Market, and American Stock Exchange.
Pulitzer Publishing, up 13 7/16 at 81 1/16
The St. Louis-based media company is considering selling its broadcast business. Pulitzer said it will continue to own and operate its newspaper properties, which include The St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson.
MGM Grand, down 1 5/16 at 35 7/8
The Las Vegas-based company expects its first-quarter results to be below Wall Street analysts' estimates.
Advanced Micro Devices, down 1 1/8 at 32 3/8
The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based maker of integrated circuits said it signed a deal with International Business Machines Corp. which would ``somewhat augment'' production of its K6 computer chip.

Glaxo Wellcome, down 1 3/4 at 55 3/4
News reports speculated that Glaxo Wellcome might launch a hostile bid for the drugs company, having failed to strike a merger deal earlier this week.

The San Jose, Calif.-based company expects first-quarter revenues and earnings per share to be ``significantly'' below analysts' expectations.
SmarTalk TeleServices, up 4 1/2 at 31 15/16
The Los Angeles-based manufacturer of prepaid phone cards reported fourth-quarter earnings that topped Wall Street analysts' estimates.
