Nebraska state agencies to remain open during eclipse
Aug. 18, 2017
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — The solar eclipse sweeping across Nebraska won't stop routine business within state agencies.
The Nebraska Department of Administrative Services says departments will remain open during their regular hours on Monday, when moon's eclipse shadow is expected to pass over the state.
The department says employees who want to view the eclipse outdoors can use vacation leave, earned compensatory time or flex their work and lunch schedules. The department says all viewing should be done on personal time.
