BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Authorities are investigating an early morning shooting and crash that killed a Louisiana woman.

News outlets report 38-year-old Andretta Selders was shot around 5 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The shooting reportedly caused her to crash her vehicle. Authorities say the woman was dead when officers arrived.

Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. L'Jean McKneely says authorities believe Selders was shot by somebody she knew.
