CHICKASHA, Okla. (AP) — An Oklahoma woman has notified police that she's safe after having been reported missing for three weeks.
The Oklahoman (http://bit.ly/2tWr3zp ) reports that Destiny Corsaut contacted authorities Sunday and told them she was staying in an Oklahoma City apartment complex with her three daughters.
Destiny Corsaut's ex-husband, David Corsaut, reported them missing earlier this month. He contacted police after he found his ex-wife's apartment ransacked and was unable to reach her.
Chickasha Police Department Lt. Scott Weaver says their disappearance caused a statewide search involving numerous agencies, including the FBI, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Grady County district attorney's office and Chickasha police.
David Corsaut now has custody of the children. Destiny Corsaut isn't in police custody.
The incident is under investigation.
