Grove City man charged with producing child pornography
A Grove City man has been charged in federal court with producing child pornography, federal prosecutors in Pittsburgh say.
Matthew A. Switzer, 33, is accused of inducing and coercing a child younger than 12 to engage in sexually explicit conduct on April 9, 2018, according to the indictment.
If convicted, he faces between 15 and 30 years in prison.
The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a U.S. Department of Justice initiative launched in 2006 to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
The FBI and state police led the investigation.
