Eagle Pass man charged with embezzling from Kickapoo tribe
The FBI has arrested an Eagle Pass man on charges of embezzling more than $1,000 from the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas.
Eduardo Riojas Villarreal, 48 of Eagle Pass, was indicted Wednesday in Del Rio on charges of embezzlement and theft, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney John F. Bash and Christopher Combs, special agent in charge of the FBI’s San Antonio Division, which covers Eagle Pass and Del Rio.
If convicted, he faces up to five years in federal prison.
