Property taxes forum

August 17, 2018

Norfolkans and area residents interested in property taxes — and, really, who isn’t? — are invited to attend a public forum later this month on that very topic.

The forum is set for Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. at the Johnny Carson Theatre at Norfolk High School. It’s open to the public and sponsored by Independent Cattlemen of Nebraska (ICON). The Norfolk Daily News and the Neligh News & Leader are media sponsors.

Featured guests will be David Domina, an Omaha attorney; Linda Rich, past president of the Nebraska Association of School Boards; state Sen. Tom Briese of Albion and, if his schedule allows, Sen. Jim Scheer of Norfolk.

There will be ample time allowed for audience comments and questions of the panelists.
