UNDATED (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers kept their 1 ½-game lead over the Chicago Cubs in the NL Central by hammering the Atlanta Braves, 10-3. Jesus Aguilar (AG’-ee-ahr) drove in four runs with a pair of blasts to tie Colorado’s Nolan Arenado for the NL home run lead with 22. The Cubs pulled out a 6-5 win over the Reds on David Bote’s bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Philadelphia remains in a virtual first-place tie with Atlanta in the NL East after the Phillies dropped a 4-1 decision to the Pirates. Nick Kingham went six innings and delivered a two-run double for his first big league hit. Nick Williams homered for the Phils, who had won six in a row.

UNDATED (AP) — The Arizona Diamondbacks lost on Sunday but kept their one-game lead over Los Angeles in the NL West. Wil Myers homered for the fourth time in three games to break a tie in the 16th inning of San Diego’s 4-3 victory over the Diamondbacks. The Dodgers wasted Yasiel Puig’s (YAH’-see-ul pweegz) three-run homer and suffered a 4-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Shohei Ohtani’s (SHOH’-hay oh-TAH’-neez) solo blast in the seventh inning.

UNDATED (AP) — The Boston Red Sox picked up their sixth straight win to remain two games ahead of the second-place Yankees in the AL East. Eduardo Nunez, Mitch Moreland and Xander Bogaerts (BOH’-gahrts) drove in two runs apiece and Andrew Benintendi had four hits as the Red Sox dumped the Royals, 7-4 in Kansas City. The Yankees kept pace by beating the Blue Jays, 2-1 on Brett Gardner’s RBI single in the 10th inning.

UNDATED (AP) — Dallas Keuchel (KY’-kul) yielded six hits and a run over seven innings as the Houston Astros downed the White Sox, 2-1 to complete a four-game sweep. Jose Altuve (al-TOO’-vay) hit a solo homer for the Astros, who picked up their sixth consecutive victory and stayed 3 ½ games ahead of the second-place Mariners in the AL West. The Mariners avoided a three-game sweep as Ryon Healy’s three-run homer and five RBIs led a 6-4 win over the Rockies.
