Man, 29, charged with rape, battery
When Sean M. Correll spoke with the investigating police officer, he denied forcing himself on a woman who said he raped her.
“I never forced anything on anybody,” he said, according to court documents.
In his version, Correll, 29, of the 7400 block of Kingsway Drive, “hooked up” with the woman three or four weeks before and she told him she wanted it to be their “little secret.”
But that’s not the way the woman saw it at all.
Both times on Feb. 1 and March 13, she told Correll no, but he continued to force her to have sex with him, court documents said.
The first time he had unwanted sex with her, she didn’t report it because she was afraid his girlfriend, who was incarcerated, would be mad at her, court documents said.
Correll is charged with two counts of rape and sexual battery and was being held at the Allen County Jail in lieu of $22,500 bail.
