STORAGE UNIT-DEAD BOY

DENVER _ The mother of a 7-year-old found dead inside a storage unit just before Christmas was charged Monday in the boy’s death. Elisha Pankey was formally charged with child abuse resulting in the death of Caden McWilliams and abuse of a corpse. WEDDING CAKE CASE-COLORADO _ A judge says the latest legal challenge by a Colorado baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a gay couple can continue.

ROAD RAGE SHOOTING-COLORADO_ A judge has entered a not guilty plea on behalf of a man accused of killing a 13-year-old and wounding three other people in a shooting prosecutors say was motivated by road rage. A judge denied a request by Jeremy Webster’s attorneys for more time to enter a plea on Monday. KUSA-TV reports that a trial is set to begin June 12.

SKI--VONN’S RETURN

Lindsey Vonn is planning to return from injury this weekend for speed races in Austria as she resumes her quest for the all-time record for World Cup wins. It will be her first races of the season after hurting her knee and sitting out six events. Vonn needs five more victories to break the overall record of 86 World Cup wins.
