19-year-old cited for reckless driving after crashing SUV into house
MIDDLETON — A 19-year-old was cited for reckless driving after police say the teenager crashed a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee into a house, according to the Middleton Police Department.
Police responded to the intersection of Cornell Street and Greenlinks Avenue after getting a report of the crash at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday. No injuries were reported and no one was home at the time of the crash, police say.
A Facebook post from the Middleton Police Department says, “Racing is for the tracks not the streets” and encourages parents to talk with their children about driving responsibly.
The 19-year-old and another driver, both of whom were not named, were cited for reckless driving.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
