Nev. Brothel Makes Ventura Tribute
CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) _ A Nevada brothel that pro wrestler-turned-Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura patronized decades ago is naming a bedroom suite in his honor.
The Moonlight Bunny Ranch, where prostitution is legal, is remodeling one of its rooms and naming it the ``Jesse (The Body) Ventura Suite.″
It will be decorated with Navy SEAL regalia, professional wrestling memorabilia and ``anything to do with Jesse’s career,″ ranch owner Dennis Hof said Friday.
Donations of decorations are being solicited via radio stations serving SEAL bases in California and Florida, and contributors will receive passes to the brothel, he said.
Ventura will be sent a lifetime pass to the 45-year-old brothel, which he made famous in his best-selling autobiography, ``I Ain’t Got Time to Bleed″ with tales of his visit there as a SEAL in the 1970s.
Asked about the honor Friday, Ventura gave no comment.
