SEXUAL MISCONDUCT-NEW JERSEY

TRENTON — A New Jersey legislative committee will hear from a woman who accused an appointee from Gov. Phil Murphy’s administration of rape before he was appointed. The committee was set up to investigate the administration’s handling of the allegations. Developing from scheduled 10:30 a.m. hearing.

IN BRIEF:

— DRUG RING-DOCTOR SENTENCED — A doctor who illegally provided tens of thousands of oxycodone pills to a drug ring has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

— OYSTER CREEK-SIREN TEST — An energy company is warning southern New Jersey residents not to be alarmed if they hear emergency warning sirens Tuesday at a closed nuclear plant.

— CRASH-EIGHT INJURED — Police say a driver was impaired at the time of a head-on crash near a New Jersey college that left eight people seriously injured, including several students.
