Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce announced yearly award winners
The Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce has announced its three winners for non-profit, business and individual of the year.
All three winners will be honored at the chamber’s annual dinner in January.
St. Vincent de Paul Society of Dodge County is the winner in the non-profit category. The local chapter is part of an international Catholic charitable organization and includes a thrift store to help fund giving.
“The organization, quietly and behind the scenes, has supported hundreds of people in need every year,” the chamber said in a press release.
St. Vincent de Paul was heavily involved in helping families impacted by the Knaup Drive explosion and the Third Street apartment fire this spring.
Mary Fitzgerald is the winner in the individual category. She is a lifelong Beaver Dam resident.
“Her volunteerism throughout her varied career has been a constant benefit for the many organizations she has supported with her time over the years, the release. “Her affinity to help those with special needs has been a particular blessing for the community.”
Reed Chrysler is the business winner for the year.
“Both charitable contributions and the time of management and employees of Reed have had an emphasis in supporting organizations that cater to youth in our community,” the release said.
The chamber’s annual dinner will be Jan. 30. The event is open to the public and a spot can be reserved by calling 887-8879. Invitations will be mailed in January.
