Heidi Loch, 56, Apopka, Florida

Heidi Jean Loch, 56, of Apopka, Florida, passed away Saturday morning, April 20, 2019, in Longwood, Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Heidi was born Aug. 11, 1962, in Portage, to Richard Lowell Scott and Shirley Jean (Klump) Scott.

She grew up in Portage and attended Portage High School, graduating in 1980. She was involved in drama, jazz band, track and field, marching band, cheerleading and many other activities. She was treasurer for her senior class.

She also attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where she was a member of the Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority.

After living in Madison for several years, she made the move to sunny Orlando, Florida, where she spent the remainder of her life.

Heidi’s two children, Corey and Kiara, are blessings from her previous marriage to Marty Ayers. On Sept. 10, 2011, Heidi was united in marriage to Scott Loch and blessed again with a stepson, Alex.

Heidi had a very outgoing personality, easily making friends wherever she went. She served and managed at several restaurants in Wisconsin and Florida and always enjoyed interacting with her customers.

She was a loving wife, precious daughter, endeared sister and loyal friend. We will all miss her very much.

Heidi leaves to mourn besides her many friends; her daughter, Kiara Ayers (Brandon Lugo); grandson, Nathan of Deltona, Florida; her son, Corey Ayers, of Apopka, Florida; her stepson, Alex Loch of Apopka, Florida; her sister, Pamela Smith (Brian) of Crownsville, Maryland; her brothers, Kirby Scott of Oshkosh, Gregory Scott of Portage; her mother Shirley Winkelman of Portage; and her best friend, Melinda Graphman of Lockhart, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Loch; her father, Richard Scott; and a sister who passed away shortly after birth.

Funeral services were held at Loomis Family Funeral Home, Apopka, Florida.
