Durham Village Holiday Market (The Rickhouse, 609 Foster Street, Durham) - Sample independent food, beverage and craft producers while you complete your shopping list. Each night will have a bar and a different food truck vendors for you to enjoy! This event repeats on Tuesday.
Jewel Handmade Holiday Tour (Carolina Theatre of Durham’s Fletcher Hall, 309 W. Morgan Street, Durham) - You’ll hear both Jewel’s holiday favorites and classics - hits like “You Were Meant for Me,” “Who Will Save Your Soul” and “Foolish Games.”
The Beach Boys (DPAC, 123 Vivian Street, Durham) - The Beach Boys will perform their timeless hits, including their Christmas hit songs, for one night only in Durham.
Daughtry (Carolina Theatre of Durham, 309 W. Morgan Street, Durham) - The American Idol contestant brings his Cage to Rattle Tour to Durham.
Black Nativity (N.C. State’s Stewart Theatre, 2610 Cates Avenue, Raleigh) - The Justice Theater Project presents the rebirth of their annual holiday family favorite -- Black Nativity by Langston Hughes.
Comedy Open Mic Night (Goodnights, 861 W. Morgan Street, Raleigh) - 20 plus comedians will perform.
A Comedy Experiment (Watts and Ward, 200 South Blount Street, Raleigh) - Enjoy cocktails and comedy from Jeremy Alder! There will also be performances by Reid Pegram, Iris Medina, Artsy Musa, Justin Scranton and Bry Burguesa.
Carolina Ballet: The Nutcracker (Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, 2 E. South Street, Raleigh) - The show features a live symphony orchestra, grand magical illusions and magnificent sets and costumes.
Hot at Nights Holiday Party (Neptunes, 14 W. Martin Street, Raleigh) - Admission is $8. The party starts at 9:30 p.m.
Hip Hop Nutcracker (DPAC, 123 Vivian Street, Durham) - This contemporary dance spectacle set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless music celebrates its fifth year anniversary this year.
Carolina Waves Music Mixer (Motorco Music Hall, 723 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - There will be live cyphers, performances, prizes and tons of local indie music throughout the night. Radio personalities, program directors, tastemakers, influencers and DJ’s from all over the Carolinas will be in attendance.
Draft Release: “Bad Haircut” Coconut Porter (Durty Bull Brewing, 206 Broadway Street, Durham) - Try the new coconut porter before the can release on Dec. 28. There will also be food from Get Buffaloed.
Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer: The Musical (A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater, 2 E.South Street, Raleigh) - Watch the holiday classic come to life.
Cirque de Noel with the North Carolina Symphony (Meymandi Concert Hall, 2 E. South Street, Raleigh) - Stunning aerial feats, mind-boggling contortions and jaw-dropping juggling acts will take your breath away.
