Norfolk Catholic football whips Aqunas turns attention to St. Paul
The Lincoln Journal Star top ranked in Class ‘C-2’ Norfolk Catholic football team is 1-1 on the year after routing previously third ranked David City Aquinas at home last Friday night 31-7.
The Knights, who scored 31 unanswered points against the Monarchs in the win, were led by Dylan Kautz’ 273 rushing yards off 27 carries and three touchdowns while Evan Smith ran for 106 yards off ten carries and a score in the victory. Norfolk Catholic was able to rebound from an opening week 48-29 road loss at top ranked in Class ‘C-1’ Pierce. The Knights return to action on Friday night when they host 1-1 St. Paul at 7:00. The Wildcats routed Southern Valley last Friday night 42-12.
