July 10, 2018

A man suspected by Minnesota police of murder was spotted in the Van Wert, Ohio, area over the weekend, police officials said Monday.

Van Wert police is asking anyone with information regarding the location of Daniel Lynn, 40, of South Bend, to call their local police department or Crime Stoppers hotline. Lynn is a suspect in the murder of Christina Woods, whose body was found buried in northeast Minnesota last week.

Lynn, who police consider dangerous, was possibly driving a white or off-white early 2000s Ford Explorer or Mercury Mountaineer SUV.

1 critical after motorcycle crash

A motorcycle crash in Kosciusko County on Sunday sent a Winona Lake man to a Fort Wayne hospital in critical condition, the county sheriff’s department said.

Ryan K. McLaughlin, 37, was riding north on Indiana 25 near County Road 200 South around 3:50 p.m. when the car in front of him slowed down for a vehicle turning off the road, the sheriff’s department said in a statement.

McLaughlin’s motorcycle collided with the back of the car, the statement said.

McLaughlin was airlifted to Lutheran Hospital. The driver of the car was not injured.
