Nebraska men’s basketball routs Seton Hall
James Palmer overcame a cold start to score 29 points with six rebounds and Isaac Copeland Jr. had 18 points, ten boards, and blocked three shots as Nebraska beat Seton Hall 80-57 last night at home.
Glynn Watson Jr. added 14 points and eight assists for the Big Red. The 3-0 Cornhuskers ended a seven-game losing streak against opponents from the Big East with their dominant performance in the Gavitt Tipoff Games. The 1-1 Pirates made just 2-16 from three-point range and had just three assists against 14 turnovers. Nebraska led at halftime 33-27. Seton Hall’s Myles Powell led the Pirates with 24 points.
