Maurice Harris, Kapri Bibbs active vs. Packers
LANDOVER Wide receiver Maurice Harris will make his season debut Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, while running back Kapri Bibbs will be the team’s third-string running back a day after the Redskins promoted him to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.
Harris has missed the last month or so with a concussion and was previously listed as questionable. But there was a good indication he was ready to go when the Redskins released veteran Breshad Perriman on Saturday.
Bibbs, meanwhile, is active ahead of 2017 fourth-rounder Samaje Perine. Perine has been inactive for all three games this season, but many expected the Redskins would make his debut after Rob Kelley (toe) was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday. When the team waived Perriman, they promoted Bibbs.
Reserve lineman Casey Dunn is also active for the first time this season with guard Shawn Lauvao out with a calf injury.
In addition to Perine and Lauvao, tackle Geron Christian, safety Troy Apke (hamstring), wide receiver Michael Floyd, defensive lineman Caleb Brantley and cornerback Adonis Alexander are also inactive for the Redskins.
