City of Humble readies for the 39th Good Oil Days
The Good Oil Days are here.
For the 39th iteration of the festival, designed to celebrate Humble’s storied past with oil, street dancing will make a return. Coined “The Blowout,” this portion of Good Oil Days is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday at Uptown Park at 308 Main Street.
Also present for the occasion are the Louis Adams Diaz Band, New Caney-native musician Jason Cassidy, a wine bar, Shiner Beer beer garden, a mechanical bull, a photo booth and more activities.
This is a ticketed event, with each ticket at $10. They are purchasable at the Humble Civic Center or at the gate.
The fun continues onto the next day with the Family Street Festival happening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street. This is a free event.
Remember to check out character cars from the film “Cars,” the senior plant sale, 80-plus vendors, stilt walkers and a Kids Zone sponsored by Kingwood Emergency Hospital.
