Names released of Florence officers involved in shooting

FLORENCE, S.C. – The names of the six Florence law enforcement officers who were wounded in a deadly shooting Wednesday have been released.

Florence police officer Terrence Carraway was killed in the shooting.

Three of the wounded officers are female deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office. All three remain in the hospital in critical condition, according to a news release from the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

The names of the officers:

>> Officer Brian Hart – Florence Police Department (traffic safety unit).

>> Officer Travis Scott – Florence Police Department (community action team).

>> Officer Scott Williamson – Florence Police Department (crime scene unit).

>> Deputy Arie Davis – Florence County Sheriff’s Office.

>> Investigator Sarah Miller – Florence County Sheriff’s Office.

>> Investigator Farrrah Turner – Florence County Sheriff’s Office

Williamson remains in the hospital. Hart and Scott were released from the hospital Thrusday.

The Florence Police Department released photos of its wounded officers.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Office is handling the shooting investigation.
