‘Tap into Downtown’ beer stroll set for Friday night in Florence
FLORENCE, S.C. – The “Tap into Downtown” beer stroll will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in downtown Florence.
The stroll will include 12 locations along North and South Dargan and West Evans streets. Small food bites will be offered in each venue.
Live entertainment will be featured during and after the stroll at Local Motive Brewery. Derek Andrew will entertain with country and alternative rock music from 8 to 11 p.m.
Tickets are $20 per person in advance and $25 the day of the event. The purchase of a ticket entitles the participant to sample all of the beers and enjoy the food that will be served. Each attendee will receive a souvenir 4-ounce sampling glass and will be eligible to win $200 in door prizes.
The first 250 attendees also will receive a complimentary pretzel necklace. Tickets can be purchased at f lorencedowntown.com or at Local Motive Brewing at 123 North Dargan Street. They will be available until 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, located at the corner of Evans and Dargan streets.
The check-in and start of the beer stroll will also be at the Florence Chamber of Commerce office.

>> Lagunitas Super Cluster and Passion Grass.
>> New Belgium Brewery Atomic Pumpkin and Hemporer HPA.
>> Southern Barrel’s Wild Bramble Sour and Slippery Slope Double IPA.
>> Stone Brewery FML New England IPA and Woot Stout.
>> Local Motive Brewery Good Graces Berliner and another surprise beer.
>> Catawba Brewery will also have two beers that have not yet been identified.
