Board denies parole for man serving life for woman’s killing

BOSTON (AP) — The Massachusetts Parole Board has denied parole for a Dedham man serving a life sentence for the murder and rape of a Boston woman more than 20 years ago.

WCVB-TV (http://bit.ly/21nNtEk ) reports that the board this week denied parole for Gerald Craffey.

Craffey pleaded guilty to killing and sexually assaulting 33-year-old Corinne Flynn in her Hyde Park home. Authorities say he had been a friend of Flynn’s brother.

Craffey was also denied parole in 2010.
