UPCOMING: INTERSTATE SHOOTING-UBER DRIVER

A man charged with murder in the fatal shooting of his Uber passenger on a Colorado highway is due back in court. Prosecutors are expected to reveal some of the evidence against Michael Hancock, who was charged in June, during Friday’s preliminary hearing. LOS ANGELES — Here’s another thing travelers can consider bringing when a trip takes them through Los Angeles International Airport — marijuana. Just be careful about carrying it onto the plane. By John Rogers.

MARIJUANA SMUGGLING KILLINGS — A Colorado man has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for his role in the 2015 deaths of two Oklahoma men in a marijuana smuggling dispute.

FBC--UCLA-COLORADO

BOULDER — Colorado plays winless UCLA in Boulder with a chance to start the season 4-0 for the first time since 1998. Since the Buffaloes started Pac-12 play in 2011, they’ve gone 1-6 against the Bruins. This is a trend Colorado would very much like to curb in the conference opener for both schools.
