PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) — Police are investigating the death of a man found near railroad tracks in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Lt. Darrin Sargent tells the Portsmouth Herald that a bicyclist riding along the railroad tracks found the body Friday morning.

Police have some leads and intend to contact relatives before releasing the man's name.

He said early indications are that the death is not suspicious. A dog found with the deceased man was taken by the city's animal control officer.
