At Crestwood, Melanie Golden racked up 16 assists and 11 service points in a 3-1 Comets win over Coughlin in WVC girls volleyball Monday.

Kristen Kania added nine service points, four kills and three aces for the victors. Carly Bono had 15 service points and seven aces, and Jayden Hooper recorded nine kills and eight points.

Nanticoke Area 3, Tunkhannock 1

At Nanticoke Area, Jilann Baron (15 kills, eight digs, three blocks, two aces) and Alyssa Lewis (12 kills, eight digs, four aces) helped the Trojanettes defend their home court and win.

Rayza Ruiz added 13 kills, eight digs and a pair of aces for Nanticoke Area. Rielly Miller had 38 assists, two aces, a kill, a block and a dig.

Molly Goodwin had seven digs and four kills for Tunkhannock. Dana Macko registered seven digs and two kills. Megan Straley had 18 digs and Jena Simmons 10 digs.

Lake-Lehman 3, North Pocono 0

At Lake-Lehman, Macenzi Barker had nine kills and Morgan Critchosin added six kills, leading the Black Knights.

Casey Dale added 20 assists for Lake-Lehman, which got 11 digs from Corinna Scoblick.

North Pocono’s Madison Opalka had 14 assists.

At MMI Prep, Summer Evancho had six kills, five service points and four assists in the Preppers’ non-conference sweep.

Elise Hreha added six kills, six aces, five digs and 18 service points. Kim Amentler had five kills and six digs, and Julie Amentler notched six kills and five assists.
