Police: Woman in wheelchair crossing street struck, killed
LANCASTER, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire State Police say a 76-year-old woman crossing the street in a motorized wheelchair has been struck and killed.
WMUR-TV reports Pauline Clark was crossing route 3 in Lancaster on Wednesday when she was struck by a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Andoni Koxarakis, of Lancaster. Police say the Lancaster woman was crossing in a designated crosswalk at the time of the crash.
Clark was taken to Weeks Medical Center where she died. Police say Koxarakis and his two juvenile passengers weren’t injured in the crash.
Police haven’t said if any charges will be filed.
